I had such a productive weekend - I did:
2 cards
6 layouts 8.5x11
6 layouts 12x12 and
started a mini album (nearly finished except for the covers).
Saturday night was dress up dinner and the theme was 80's icons - we went as The Village People - didn't win but had fun dressing up and dancing to the YMCA song - lol (hope no one had a video camera). The funny thing is Jeff has bought me a going away bag and inside was a Village People CD, cowboy hat and a wrapped present that he told me not to open until we were all together at the retreat - it was a little figurine of the Village People (as the retired village people) and represented the 5 that we dressed up as (haven't taken a photo of it yet but it is on my scrap desk)
From left to right is: Tamara (copper), Julie (indian), Jane (construction worker), me (cowboy) and Sarah (biker).
On Julie's head are the dreaded silver balls headband - every time someone said the four letter "C" word you had to wear them (clean minds here girls - the word was "cute" - lol) lots of laughs.
So we had a ball and are definately going again next year.
My other news on the home front is we get our FIRST foster child this weekend - a little 2 year old boy (he comes for the weekend to give his regular foster carer a break) and we are all excited. xx
