Scrap Time

This is the blogspot that Sarah and Sandra are on the design team and I keep meaning to check it out, this is sketch no 6 which closes on 6 June so go on over and have a look at the DT's designs and get your entries in.
This is my take on the sketch - I flipped it on the side and my layout is unconventional size 9" x 12". Used heaps of the new crate range on this and love it - the alphas and rub-ons are from my old stash (not the carolee's, I use them as quick as I buy them - lol)

This was the sketch no 5
Once again - I flipped it - so love the 3 bugs in a rug range of pp and this is 8" x 12"

Week 6 at wicked_princess - gluttony - had to do layout about eating and use two different techniques (I went for doodling and inking), 6 different embellishments (rub-ons, buttons, sticker, pearls, chipboard& ribbon) also 4 different pp's. Also had to feature the colour orange. I used the crate paper range again.
The card was to feature "eat cake" on it. Techniques I used were the inking and stamping, 3 embellies (ribbon, flower & button).

On Wednesday night, I finally got the chance to complete my layout for white_with_one (that I tried to send to 123 - lol). The criteria was: white, olive green & birdie - layout is very simple and plain but I felt it was just right as it was.
Also on Wednesday night I did the recipe cards for scrap_therapy cupcake recipe swap - I had to make 20 up - they are all ready to go postal. Will post photo of swap cards when I get them back
Another swap I'm in is at mystical_scrapbooks and was a journal swap, had to make 2 different journal blocks for each person. Here is a sneak preview of my blocks. I made one for girls and one for boys.

Thanks for looking at my blog - if you like what you see please leave a comment & have a great week.
