Lots of Scrap Time

Okay what a scrappy week I've had

First is the card and layout I've done for the wicked_princess - 7 deadly sins challenge - this is week 4 and it was SLOTH: the criteria was; mono light blue, stitching, 2 hand-made embellies (1 out of non scrappy product) and the card had to have the added criteria of farewell or bon voyage on it.

My hand-made items are the clouds and the flower thingy is made out of curling ribbon. Had to get my sewing machine out for this one as tried to hand stitch but it didn't turn out how I wanted, had so much fun trying out different stitches on the machine as I didn't even know what half of them were.

This was made for a girlfriend - it is her birthday today and she is cow mad - I found a little lolly shop that had cow chocolates and bought her some and decided to make a little cow bag for them to go into. The cow template was from Anne-Marie (the owner of Made with Memories - I DT for them), Anne-Marie was quite embarrassed the other night when I bought it up as it was from a long time ago (when I first met her and she was teaching classes).

Matching card for pressie.

Sneak peek of my layout I did for Scrap Therapy Make Believe Masters challenge.

This month at scrap_therapy the manufactor of the month is My Minds Eye (20% off this range all May) - this is the layout I did for man of the month at Scrap Therapy.

Cyber Cropping time at MYSTICAL_SCRAPBOOKS - I love a good CC and they don't disappoint.

Challenge 4 - we were given 8 sizes of pp to use on the layout from you scrap stash - this is the layout I did - I so love it. I only distressed the photos (not the pp - shock), I sanded them and then using my white gel pen drew border around them (one of my fav techniqes).

Challenge 3 - had to make 4 cards - sent Sam cyber dark looks for this one as 4 CARDS - holey moley but I did them and totally love them - thanks Sam - that's the other job of CC's & challenges - make you get out of your comfort zone, each card had to feature something different
1 with happy birthday, 1 with stamping, 1 with 3D-ing, 1 with shape.

Challenge 2 - the criteria was 2 different shaped photos - (my first thought was blimey where are those old CM cutters - lol - and yes I did find them), title 4 words or more (I was going to try to get a quote but couldn't find one that suited layout - my title is 14 words long) and 3 different flowers with different centers (so lucky this week as Toni RAK'd me a great bag of flowers so they were used in this challenge).

Love the papers I used - BG lime rickey pp's - devine

Challenge 1 - this was made for me - old pp's (had to go through scrap stash and found these that I used on different layout last year) and lots of distressing (I so love my distressing).

As well as the challenges - there is lots of games to play at MYSTICAL SCRAPBOOKS all over the weekend - try to join us next month.... love to see you there.

Layout for Mystical Scrapbooks - May colour challenge - you had to scrap a girl page using boy products or boy page using girl products (was going to do a layout featuring Jeff on girl pp's and still might get around to it).

One last image to share with you this week - it is a sneak peek of next months challenge at ROLL THE DICE - hope you have played along this month.

Also don't forget I've got 2 paper packs to give away this month and all you have to do is complete the May monthly blog challenges for
and leave a comment there and here for me - thanks and hope you play.

You just blew my mind! How on earth did you complete so many projects in one weekend! The part that is even more impressive is that several of the challenges were...for lack of a better word...challenging! Great job on all of them! Thanks for sharing!
