1 Long weekend = 12 Layouts

SCRAP THERAPY
Now before you think I've gone nuts over the Cosmic Cricket Range in next 3 LO's is because this month Cosmic Cricket is the Manufactor of the Month at Scrap Therapy which means all Cosmic Cricket is 20% off for the month of April and with only $6 express postage - its great.

Write Stuff Challenge: create LO about what makes you sweet (or not) with at least 100 words of journalling. I decided to altered the criteria on my LO a little bit and did LO on "what is SWEET TO ME" - it is based on the fires near home yesterday and what I packed and what I would miss if something did happen to the home.

I used Cosmic Cricket "Something Special" papers, hat box thickers & carolee's tiny alphas.

The Man of the month challenge: create a LO that include a layered cupcake.

Cosmic Cricket - "girl friday" pp's, carolee's sleek black & tiny black alpha's, CI paper lace, vine ribbon & Hero Arts stamp.

Sketch Challenge: asked my girlfriend, Toni, if I could use the photos of her daughter that she had sent to me - just to give me a different subject to scrap.

Cosmic Cricket "girl friday" pp & chipboard pieces
carolees tiny black alpha's
got my sewing machine out for this one and sewed the pp onto the page.

MYSTICAL SCRAPBOOKS
Numbers challenge: had to use, 1 photo, 2 ribbon/lace, 4 chipboard, 6 buttons. I took this photo of Josie yesterday when we got home from the shops and so love it.
Used one of my favourite paper ranges: 3 bugs in a rug
these papers are from "what a hoot" range, also used collections chipboard & BG chippy alphas.

Colour challenge: kraft, blue, green & white.
I used the yummy 3 bugs in a rug range of papers & diecuts for this.

The other 7 LO's are in previous posts.

PHOTOS OF THE FIRE - 1st pic @ 3.30pm, 2nd pic @ 5.20pm
We had been in town shopping and just driven past road about 3pm and didn't see anything so I couldn't believe how quick it happened.

Great pages missy C. Boy that fire would of been a bit of a scare. Were those pics taken from your house?

Gorgeous LO's Christine - especially love that one of Josie in bunny ears, lol.

We were heading down the freeway back home when we saw the fire, was huge eh!? Had a few friends call to make sure we were ok - had to assure them we live in a sea of houses, no bush near us! Makes you angry eh...

Thanks again for stopping by my blog!
