Wow, 3 years since last post - does anyone still blog and read blogs anymore?
Are they like brick and mortar scrapbooking shops and forums and dying out?
During the past 3 years my scrapbooking has consisted of approximately 20 minus layouts a year - I used to do 200 plus before that. This year I am back job sharing so going to scrapbook more (though with getting older I've now got rheumatoid arthritis so some days my hands don't like to work).
My new scrapbooking subject is our puppy (which is growing at an alarming rate).

Long time between posts
Finally back to scrapbooking so much has happened in last year.
Working full-time (60 hour weeks) took too much energy so no real scrap time.
Sold house in WA and had to pack everything away and put it in storage.
Moved to Qld and took a while to find out what we were doing (buying or renting), couldn't find anything to buy that we agreed on so renting now for a year.
We lost 2 important members of our family this year: my fur-baby Kadaicha to old age and Jeff's oldest brother to cancer.
Moving into the rental meant I was able to get my stuff out of storage so finally have my scrappy stuff unpack and hubby (being the best hubby in my world) bought me a new desk to use to scrap with. Still trying to organise my scrappy stash but have managed to do a few layouts in the past few weeks and make up invitations for my 50th birthday party this year.
This year is a big party year for us - we have celebrated Josie's 21st, Sammi's 18th and now my 50th is coming up. Moving has been great as we have caught up with so many family and friends - even go to celebrate my godson's 18th with him.
Now I need to find some scrap retreats here in Qld to attend.
Have a great day :-)

May Retreat
Retreat time once again with http://scrapawayinwa.blogspot.com.au/ this time it was at Lake Leschenaultia and I managed to do 18 layouts - woo hoo. Once again Wally was my partner in crime and this was my first time at Tamara's retreat that I won a RAFFLE. Saturday night we had mask/hat comp and my mask came first - I think it was rendidtion of Elton John that sealed it for me. Also came 3rd in the sketch challenge - must of been my lucky weekend.
Here are some of my layouts from the weekend.

Start of February 2013
Happy February everyone
I haven't been able to post as computer caught a virus :(
Also I've been working full-time for the past 2 weeks.
I tip my hat to all those mums who work full-time, raise a family, cook a home made meal every night and keep their houses clean. So glad that this week I go back to my normal 2 days a week.
This month I have the colour run to compete in (I'm not running but walking the 5k's), looking so forward to the photos to scrapbook :)
Now for my January Photo a day collage - so love doing this with http://fatmumslim.com.au/
Thanks for visiting my blog. xx

My favourite layouts for 2012
My favourite layout size is 8.5x11.
Thought during the past year I have dabbled in a few 12x12 and even some double page layouts (I know, shocked me too) and lots of cards (even made all my Christmas cards).
So below is featuring some 8.5x11 layouts
I love to use lots of pattern papers on my layouts, and keeping my layouts simple.
Thanks for looking at my blog and hope your day is fantastic. xx
